Image Processing (IP) Module

Edge Medical uses advanced digital wavelet transforms based on Multi-Resolution Analysis (MRA) techniques, to ensure optimal image quality. With MRA, the image is decomposed into a basis set of sub-images at different spatial frequencies or scales, for de-noising and image enhancement. Unlike Fourier techniques, MRA enables localized optimization of image content at all spatial frequencies.

Edge's Image Processing Module is available as an add-on to the SDK or as an integrated part of the Quix DR Console.
